Arlington Arsenal Competitive Team FAQ’s

Are rosters spots reserved for players that live in Arlington only?
– No. We strive to be one of the premier baseball clubs and a destination for players from all over the area.  We are based out of Arlington, but we currently have players on our rosters that live as far as 45 minutes away. We look for highly talented players and great parents from all over, not just Arlington.

When will tryouts be held for the 2018-2019 Competitive Season?
– Tryouts for the 2018-2019 season have been completed. If you would like consideration for a private workout, contact the coach of the team you are interested in or shoot us an email

How many teams will the Arsenal Organization field for 2019?
– We currently plan on having one AA team for the following age groups: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, and 14U. The 13U team will compete in the AAA division.

How much does it cost to play?
– Exact cost per player is contingent on factors such as the age group and number of tournaments the team plays.  This is determined by the coach of each team.  The cost is approximately $1,000 per player. These fees include uniforms, bags, helmets, fees for practice venues, etc.  If a player is extended an invitation to play for a team, the exact amount will be relayed at that time.

Where are practices held?
– Fall and winter practices are mostly held at the Arlington Sports Complex ball fields. We also take advantage of other venues, such as area indoor practice facilities.  During the Spring, we generally reserve and practice at Gameday Baseball in Cordova.

Who are the coaching staffs?
– Our coaching staffs consist mainly of parents and volunteers. Anyone that is a coach for an Arsenal team has been interviewed and approved by our Board of Directors.  We vet these individuals to make sure they possess a thorough knowledge of baseball and are willing and capable of helping each player reach their full potential.  These coaches must also agree with and abide by the Arsenal mission of creating a culture of baseball excellence.

We believe our staff puts players in the best position to succeed on and off the field.  We offer highly knowledgeable coaches and put an emphasis on player development.
